David Estacio

Vice President, Information Solutions

Mr. Estacio is a US Army veteran and has worked in and around the tech industry for the entirety of his professional career.  He holds degrees in both Electrical Engineering and Management Information Systems.  Mr. Estacio brings more than 26 years of proven leadership experience as well as his extensive experience in Army, Joint, and multinational Command and Control, integration and simulation systems to his role as AEgis Vice President, Information Solutions.

The Information Solutions group is a highly professional, diverse organization providing exceptional service and support to multiple Federal and State government agencies and commercial partners in the following areas: Tactical data link and commercial data integration and interoperability;  Military and government agency exercises and training planning, integration and execution; Verification Validation and Accreditation; Modeling and Simulation planning, documentation, management and criticality assessments; Threat, vulnerability and risk assessments; Foreign Military Sales analysis and course of action development; System and flight test support; Port Security; and Wildfire detection and management.  The Information Solutions group provides support in these functional areas at locations spanning the globe from the Far East, all across North America and Europe into the Middle East.

Prior to joining AEgis, Mr. Estacio served as Vice President at both Engility Corporation and L-3 Communications.  Mr. Estacio has also worked at Brown International, Coleman Research, and SY Technologies.  He is a member of the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), High Level Seven International (HL7), and the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), as well as supporting multiple Department of Defense (DoD) tactical communications working groups and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) datalink and interoperability working groups.  Mr. Estacio also volunteers time with the Special Olympics of North Alabama and Susie’s Wish.
